Lincoln Wellington road runners not only braved the muddy conditions of the Sleaford Half, but some also braved the mud in the Belvoir Challenge.
Sylvia Strangeway did a very good 2h 26m 54s in the 16 mile event.
Doing the longer 26 mile event, Steve Campion ran 4h 00m 22s and Rob Smith finished in a very good time of 4h
29m 38s. And, while I know that Pete Fieldsend did also run, I do not know what time he did but well done to them all, also running was Dave
Strangeway unfortunately for Dave he took a wrong turning due to no marshals on the course and ended up doing at least five miles more than any one else and getting everyone worried at the finish as to where he was, but good intuition brought him back safe
in 3h 42m 57s.
Also lonely runner Mark Lovett ran the Snake Lane 10 miler in a very good time of
72m 34s.
