There were several personal bests for road runners on Sunday, at a very cold but sunny Ferriby 10 mile road race.
A large squad of road runners turned up on Sunday to the Ferriby race.
Times as follows:-
First home for the group was Richard Bateson finishing in a fabulous 14th place with a time of
58m 18s. In 24th place with a time of 61m 45s was Dan the Man Hogg closely followed by Neil Coney in 27th place with a time of
61m 55s. Peter Duncan followed Neil with a place of 32nd and a time of
62m 34s. Rob Butler finished in 40th place with a time of 64m
13s. Glenn the Moore Man ran 65m 01s time finishing in 52nd place.
Peter Wass finished in 92nd place with a time of 68m 50s. With the Essex boy Dave Wilson finishing in 117th place with a time of
71m 05s. Geoff Hall ran with a good time of 72m 15s in 131st place.
Andy Grimwood fab time of 72m 50s in 136th position. Richard Titchmarsh, the oldest of the runners and a prize winner, came 139th in a time of
72m 58s. Jim Davies finished in a time of 74m 39s placed 170th.
Mark Lovett in close pursuit was 173rd in a time of 74m 57s. The first lady home was Sylvia Strangeway with a
PB of 75m 28s. In hot pursuit was Steve Bullivant with a time of
75m 41s. A fellow runner Mick Ramsden ran 76m 18s in a place of 201st.
Second lady home was Nettie Wasyliw in a time of 78m 04s and birthday
girl Deb Daly finished in a position of 252nd in a time of 79m
25s. Anne Gilroy in a time of 81m 51s. Jane Ramsden the cake woman finished in a time of
84m 10s and, last but not least, David Smith in a time of 96m 57s.
