A superb track and field season for the athletes of Lincoln Wellington has ended with

Leading the way was U15 Girl Hannah Dunderdale, who was 4th in the
Pentathlon rankings with 2981 points and also took 5th place in the 400m listings with a late season 60.8s.
A terrific all-round season was completed with further top 20 performances in the

Women's age group, Ellis Whyler placed 7th in the 100m Hurdles with

Heptathlon with 5063 points and backed this up with a fine High Jump clearance of 1.76m which put her in 20th place.
After a good few years of weakness in the field events, the rankings showed a corner has now been turned for Wellington in that area.
Dominic Sykes picked up 5th place in the U15 Boy's Hammer rankings with 53.72m and, in the
U17 Women's Hammer, a throw of 45.77m by Sarah Stanhope gave her 6th place.
The final ranking places went to U17 Joe Dunderdale, who emulated his sister with some very good all-round results.
His Decathlon score of 5068 points gave him 7th place and he was also 11th in the
Javelin with 59.14m and 16th in the Octathlon with a score of 4531 points.
