Hannah was always in contention and led after 2 events, moved up from 6th place after 4 events, a superb effort in the 800m enabled Hannah to jump the 2 places required into the England team.  A final points score of 2981 (new Club Record) was made up of 75m Hurdles 11.8s, SP 10.86m, HJ 1.42m Personal Best, LJ 4.80m and 800m 2m 32.89s.

In the Internediate Boys Octathlon, Joe Dunderdale had a terrific first day's performance to lie in 4th place after the first 4 events, LJ 5.67m, DT 39.49m, 400m 55.46s all Personal Bests and a 53.08m Javelin Throw.
Joe started the second day with another Personal Best in the 100m Hurdles of 14.53s.  Unfortunately, Joe suffered from a hamstring problem and struggled in the high Jump 1.42m and 1500m 5m 18.67s, he did Put the Shot an excellent 12.18m, overall he scored 4531 points for 12th place, a new Club record.

Another Personal Best was achieved by Matt Houlden in the Senior Boys Decathlon.  Matt's strongest day is Day one, he had a score of 3016pts, made up of 100m 11.72s, LJ 6.17m, SP 9.33m, HJ 1.72m 400m 53.03s.
Matt's second day is not so strong although he ended the competition with 3 personal bests even though he had to pull out of the pole vault event when he bounced off the end of the bed and smacked his head!
110H 17.35s, DT 25.84m, PV 2.81m pb, JT 33.52m pb, 1500m 5m 08.34s pb.  Total points 5161.
