Lincolnshire Wolds 10 Rothwell 5 September 2009 |
| Lincoln Wellington road runners were out in force again this weekend, braving the Wolds 10 run at Rothwell. Seven runners finished in the top 50 of a very good field. A special mention about Steve Bullivant, who not only ran the race but cycled from Lincoln. He asked at the end if he could borrow someone else's legs to cycle home with but no offers were made. A well done to Peter Duncan who took a prize also well done to Darren Holian, Rob Butler, Neil Coney, Dan Hogg, Peter Wass, Geoff Hall, Andy Grimwood, Nettie Wasyliw, Jane and Mick Ramsden, Richard Titchmarsh, Steve Campion, Brian Fox, Anne Gilroy, Steve Bullivant and Ian Mair. Also thanks to Becky, who marshalled and gave us all good encouragement at the most difficult part of the course. The course was tough but very nice. We all enjoyed the run and are looking forward to the next event. |
