A large number of Lincoln Wellington Road Runners took part in the Heckington Road Race.
This year a staggering 21 ran the race. The highest finisher was Mark Greenwood in
56m 18s, followed by Neil Coney and Dan Hogg. Everyone who took part did very well.
It was a hot day and the course long and hard. Well done to all who took part:- John
Holmes, Steve Campion, Pete Duncan, David Wilson, Darren Holian, Geoff Hall, Mick Ramsden, Netty Wasyliw
who won the V40 Ladies prize), Steve Bullivant, Deb Daley, Danny Walsh, Helen
Lister, Anne Gilroy, Jane Ramsden, Diane Jones, Lucy Titchmarsh, Heather Gray and a big well done to Ann Storr, who completed our list of runners for the day.
Hopefully we shall have a big turn out of runners for Wednesday's 5k
series race. Sheridan McWilliam also won one of the shorter races.
