Manchester 10k Manchester 17 May 2009 |
| There were two fine Wellington performances in a huge field of over 30,000 runners in the Manchester 10k road race. Strong winds over the later stages of the event had a major impact on times but Jon Hughes ran strongly throughout to finish 1st MV50 in the mass contest in 37m 01s. And, just behind him, Harriet Canter also turned in an excellent performance to finish 2nd Senior Woman in 37m 10s. |
