Following her outstanding performances for Lincolnshire in the Regional event, Hannah was one of 4 athletes selected as an individual to compete in the
U13 Girls age group along with athletes representing the regional winners from the rest of the
UK - some from as far as the Shetland Isles. Hannah was one of the favourites in the 4 lap race but, owing to a problem with the surface, the organisers were forced to cancel all the track races after 4 athletes slipped when slowing to turn in the first 2 track races.

Hannah Dunderdale competed in her first home countries competition in the UK Sportshall Final at the NEC in Birmingham.
Athletes compete in one track and one field event, so Hannah moved on to the Shot Putt where, despite nerves, she led for 3 rounds. In the
fourth and last round, a Norfolk athlete surpassed her with a throw of 10.56m. Unfortunately Hannah was unable to respond and had to settle for missing out on a UK title by
5cms. Hannah received her Silver medal from former world record holder David Moorcroft, but her lasting memory of the day was her 5 minute interview, live on 247.tv, where she entertained the presenter with one or two tales about why she enjoys training and competing for LWAC.
