In a field of 130 starters, Jon Hughes worked through very well on the second lap to finish 18th overall in a time of 18m 14s and picked up the 1st M50 award in the process. Harriet Canter ran strongly throughout the race and after taking the lead on the final circuit was just relegated to 2nd place on the final sprint to the line. A time of 18m 49s was entirely satisfactory in the prevailing conditions. Rachael Nathan donned the club vest for the first time in almost a year and finished in good shape in 20m 19s which placed her 3rd senior woman. New member Geoff Hall enjoyed a solid run to cross the line in 58th place overall (7th M50) in a time of 20m 31s.
