In cool conditions which were far from ideal, our three young sprinters Katie McMunn (U13), Josh Drotleff (U13) and Lucy Helas (U15) all put in strong performances in the 100m. Katie McMunn clocking 14.9s, Josh Drotleff 14.8s and Lucy Helas 14.7s (equalling her PB). Katie and Josh also ran well in the 200m - both clocking 30.1s, a new PB for Katie with Josh equalling his PB in winning his race. Katie McMunn went on to put in a 13.0s 70mH race, which knocked 0.3s off her PB set last year.

LWAC were also represented by Jack Cornwell, who showed good early season form in clocking 2m 13.9s for the 800m, just 3s outside his best time of last season.
