Betty Stracey was also in France and ran the W65 8k cross country finishing
49th in 46m 47s, and the 3000m finishing 5th in 15m 26.16s. Both ladies are to be congratulated for their performances. What an achievement
and what an inspiration they should be to our younger members!

Congratulations to Dot Fraser, who came home from the World Masters
Indoor Championships in Clermont-Ferrand, France with a clutch of
medals and a new British W70 400m record of 83.99s to take the silver
medal. Photos
of Dot are available here. Dot also won the 60m in 10.52s and the
200m in 35.49s. Stepping down to W65, she made up a British 4x200m squad
who did very well to place 2nd.
