LWAC - EVAC Indoor Championships - Lee Valley

Four Wellington athletes made the trip to the newest Indoor Athletic Arena in the UK - Lee Valley Stadium, North London - at the weekend to compete in the Eastern Veterans Indoor Championships.

Dot Fraser had a busy afternoon competing the in the 60m in 10.6s, 200m in 36.4s and 400m in 88s in the W65 age group, winning all three events.

Adie Marston won the M45 800m comfortably in 2m 15.04s.

Betty Stracey finished 2nd in the 1500m in 7m 01.5s.

Geoff Powley competed in the British Masters Indoor pentathlon finishing in 4th place in the M45 age group with
3062 points. His individual results being 60m hurdles 10.7s, Long Jump 4.86m, Shot put 9.44m, High Jump 1.51m and 1000m in 2m 57.9s.
