Dorothy Fraser competed in the W65 age group, gaining a gold medal in the 400m with a time of 84.30s and a silver in the 200m with 35.43s. Betty Stracey (also W65) won gold in the 3000m in 14m 34.24s and a silver in the 1500m, finishing in 7m 16.69s. Denise Timmis (W45) competed in the 60m (8.97s), 200m (29.48s) and was disqualified in the 400m.

Geoff Powley competed in the M40 Pentathlon, finishing in the bronze medal position. Malc Bramhall (M45) competed in the 200m (26.10s) and the 400m (57.42s).

Next week, Dorothy and Denise will be competing in the World Indoor Vets championships in Linz, Austria.
