LWAC - Reebok Cross Challenge - Birmingham

The recent wet weather ensured that the hilly, muddy course was even more testing than usual and resulted in a slight change to the usual route as the first crossing over the brook was deemed unsafe. This year saw the runners cross a sand covered bridge to reach the far field. They did not however avoid having to cross the brook at a different point on the way back. This second crossing was probably one of the most popular spectator points of the day as many runners failed to make the crossing cleanly and took an early bath!
