Peterborough
30 August 2004
Twelve athletes from Lincoln Wellington travelled to Peterborough for the 2004 Peugeot Marshall games held at Embankment
Track. Weather throughout the day varied to many extremes. The day started off very sunny with a bit of a breeze, then in the
early hours of the afternoon the skies clouded over quickly and intervals of showers left most of the athletes and their
spectators rather soggy. A rare sight was also to be seen that day, as hordes of beautiful dragonflies were constantly
darting about around the track.
