Lincolnshire Cross Country League Match 2, on the 30 November at the West Common, Lincoln had a good turn out. Though the common was muddy all took part in excellent races and enjoyed the day.

The Senior men that took part were Will Strangeway in the under 20 coming in 7th in 35.46, Sam Illidge in 11th in 36.56, Steve Campion 23rd 40.38, Russ Haywood 45th in 45.09, and David Strangeway in 59th in a time of 50.51.

In the senior womens race Lucinda Pitcher Under 20, Claire Derry, and Jane Clarke all came in respectively in 2nd, 3rd and 4th in 23.02, 24.31 and 24.41. Not far behind in 7th was Kathy Warhurst in 25.29, Joanne Campion 11th with 26.24, 19th came Trish Penistan in 27.40, 27th Mia Haywood for the under 20, Jane Ramsden 30th 31.05, Alison Dale 32nd 31.40, and Dot Fraser came 38th in 35.27.

The club's younger section had great success for the U11 Girls where Mary-Ann Philips came 2nd with a smashing 3.39, and close on her tail was Hester Talbot coming 3rd in the same time. Hannah Dunderdale came 5th in 3.59, Imogen Brown in 4.06 and Megan Ball in 4.07.

The U13 Boys and girls had a good run showing everyone finishing at the top end of the table well done. Joe Dunderdale came 2nd in 12.33, 7th was Jon Humberstone 13.22 and not far behind Neil Humberstone in 14.45. The girls showing lots of promise came through with Blue Haywood 1st in 10.09 and Chelsea Coyle in 10.42.

Under 15 boys Elliot Haywood came 3rd in 15.56 with Ashley Smith in 6th place 16.47. The Under 15 girls had a good run with Kelly Gilbert leading us in for home in 3rd in 13.23 Rebecca Jackson 4th in 13.29 and Helen Penistan in 14.30.

The Under 17 Mens saw us come in 1st with Tom Herbert leading the way in 24.13, Craig Maskell in 7th in 26.20 and Dexter Haywood in 10th place in 27.53.
