Jake Coyle is another of Wellington's current crop of talented young athletes and 13th spot in the under 13 boy's race was another impressive performance.

In a high class under17/under 20 race Sarah Coates turned in a pretty sound effort to finish 55th in a field of 111.

Tom Doe had the misfortune to lose his way to the course and just missed the start. After quickly donning his spikes he chased the mammoth field of around 700 athletes in the junior/senior men's race from a position at the rear and after working through well was quite pleased to finish 75th at the line. His reward for his hard work was to be disqualified for failing to wear a number.
