There were some Lincoln Wellington successes at the athletics events held at the recent Heckington Show. Simon Bell won the 10 mile road race in a useful time of 56.05 and on the grass track circuit Matt Bowser won the 800m in 2.03 and the mile in 4.49 without being seriously challenged in either race. The women's 800m and mile were both won by Kathy Warhurst in 2.49 and 6.39.
