At the same meeting Geoff Powley produced some excellent results in the M40 category. He finished 12th in the pentathlon with a personal best 3292 points total and set four club records.  He completed a hectic few days by contesting four individual events. His time of 57.08 was a personal best in the 400m and he also recorded 8.12 in the 60m (another club record), 5.51m in the long jump and 10.85min the triple jump.
