First of the group home was Brian Fox, who ran a good time of 1 hour 36 minutes 59 seconds.  Behind him came Dave Strangeway with a fantastic personal best of 1.45.44.

Also running a personal best was Heather Burke, running in at 1.57.43.  Next back was Danni Whitehouse, who is training for the London Marathon, with a good time of 2.06.

Pat Kimpton also got back into the pace after some time off through injury problems when she ran a pleasing 2.12.

Dave Strangeway will go on to do the Paris Marathon on 6th April with Jim Diamond and Ricky Miller, two other stalwarts of the road group.  All are hoping to get under the 4 hour mark.. Good luck to them (or should that be 'bon chance').
