LWAC - North of England Indoor Combined Event Champs

Lincoln Wellington multi eventer Jenny Pacey has made a spectacular start to the new year. She moved up to the senior age group to compete in the North of England Indoor Pentathlon Championships at Manchester's new 4-lane indoor track. And after trailing the leader for the first two events she came through strongly to take the gold medal with a new personal best total of 3407 points for the five events. Her best result came in the 60m hurdles where she recorded 9.6 seconds and she followed this with 1.63m in the high jump, 10.67m in the shot, a long jump of 5.38m and an 800m time of 2 minutes 36.4 seconds. If she can maintain her improvement she should figure at a very high level in the coming outdoor season.
