Watford

With the current track season drawing to a close one or two Wellington athletes have been attending some high class meetings
in pursuit of fast times. Following on from her superb personal best over 3000m the previous week Rachael Nathan competed in
an open 1500m at one of the top quality Watford open events. In a mixed race she again ran brilliantly to finish in second
place in a new personal best time of 4.23.3, taking over three seconds from her previous best and placing her in 2nd spot in
the national rankings in her age group. Tom Doe is also 'on a roll' at the moment and recent improvement was maintained when
he ran in the British Milers Club 1500m at the same meeting. A very strong run saw him finish in an excellent time of 3.53.1
- a two second reduction in his personal best and looking as though there may still be more to come in the next couple of weeks.
