There were some more good results for Wellington athletes at the latest mid-week open meeting organised by Trafford A.C. at
Stretford, Manchester. Tom Doe is making up for time lost due to injury earlier in the season and in the British Milers Club
1500m race he finished very strongly to pick up 7th place in 3.57.4 to record his 2nd fastest time ever for the distance.
In the 'A' 3000m Simon Bell notched his best time over the distance for about six years when crossing the line in 8.55.4.
And in the 'B' 3000m there was yet another personal best in a terrific season for Dean Houlton when he returned in 9.33.0
to clip three seconds off his previous best.
