For the under 13 boys squad Matt Richardson won the 100m in 14.5 and was 2nd in both the 75m hurdles in 17.0 and the long
jump with 4.20m. Jon Jones won the latter event with a leap of 4.32m and went on to finish 2nd in the 100m in 14.5 and 2nd
in the 200m in 29.9. Elliott Haywood ran well for 2nd spot in the mile in 5.52.0. There were some good under 15 results with
Danny Roome scoring easily in the mile in 4.59.1 with Tom Herbert 2nd in 5.19.6 and Sam Delaney 3rd in 5.33.6. Mark Plaskitt
equalled his personal best when winning the 800m in 2.26.1 and a good effort in the 300m gave Tom Duffield the runner up
spot in a speedy 39.7. A clearance of 1.60m gave Luke Lovell the under 17's high jump and a family double was completed when
brother Jason won the 400m in 56.5. Anthony Sherwin picked up 2nd place in the 100m in 12.3. The under 20's 100m was won by
Michael White in 11.8 and there were senior victories for Steve Swaby in the long jump (5.78m), high jump (1.68m) and 400m
hurdles (62.8) and also for Dean Houlton in the 1500m steeplechase in 5.00.3. A couple of fine efforts by Malc Bramhall
gave him a veteran double with 60.7 in the 400m hurdles and 24.6 in the 200m.

There were more good Wellington performances at the 4th Lincolnshire League match of the season at Grantham. Eleven year old
Blue Haywood produced the performance of the day to win the u13 girl's mile in impressive style in 5.51.3 The promising
Lydia Chamberlain won the under 15's 75m hurdles in 12.5 and also scored in the 200m in 27.6 and in the same age group
Josina Clarke won the 800m in 2.39.5. There was a senior sprint double for Nina Forney who won the 100m in 13.8 and the 200m
in 28.8 and Hayley Fox cleared 2.40m to win the pole vault. In the veteran category Kathy Warhurst was in good form and took
the 400m in 71.4 and the mile in 5.53.1.
