A group of Wellington athletes competed with distinction at the latest Trafford Grand Prix meeting at Manchester. Matt Bowser
was a fraction outside his personal best when finishing 5th in a top class British Milers Club 1500m race in 3.48.23. In the
BMC 800m D race Gary Johnson had another good run to finish 5th in 1.59.56.
Annette Bell produced a seasons best time of
10.34.25 in the 3000m and Katie Tilley recorded her best time for almost two years with 2.31.44 for 2nd place in the 800m.
Kathy Warhurst also returned from the 800m with a season's best 2.38.89.
