In a top class 3000 metres Richard Blagrove finished 6th in 8.38.22 with Tom Doe just behind in
7th place in 8.39.34. Both athletes were delighted with their times, which were personal bests for both indoors and outdoors
and both look set for a good season.
Rowena Harrison was also well satisfied to record 2.24.0 in the 800 metres – easily her
best start to a season at that distance – and she will now revert to 400 metres for her next outing.
