| Friday 17th May 2013: The final timetable for the County Championships on 25th/26th May is now online. |
| Monday 13th May 2013: Message for the Throws group - there will be training on Tuesday 14th May. Also, please remember that if you are planning to compete in the Lincs League on 19th May, you must pre-enter. You cannot enter on the day. |
| Tuesday 7th May 2013: A reminder that entries for Lincolnshire County Champs close this Friday (10th May). Entries should be made online and then copies with payment to be given to Karen Wilkinson. No late entries will be accepted. |
| Tuesday 7th May 2013: Any LWAC athletes wanting to compete in the 2nd Lincs League match on 19th May must enter in the Hub on training nights & make the appropriate payment. They must not just turn up at the venue on match day. |
| Friday 3rd May 2013:
Attention U13 & U15 YDL athletes. Our first match is nearly here!
If you need to get hold of Neil before the match his number is 07867 908636.
The match starts at 11am with the field events and the first track event is at 12.30pm. Parents that have offered their services as officials will need to be there from the start, we need 7 and score 5 points for each official provided. A reminder that athletes need to wear a club vest, we will have some spares if athletes don't have one. Make sure you bring plenty to eat and drink and sun cream as sun is forecast. See you Saturday! |
| Thursday 2nd May 2013: Correction to a previous news item - The 515 group will not be training on Thursday 30th May and will be taking their two week summer break on 8th August and 15th August. |
| Monday 29th April 2013: The County Combined Events Championships will take place at Grantham on 11th/12th May. A timetable of events and entry form are now available. |
| Friday 26th April 2013: Youth Development League U13+U15 - 1st match
4th May at Grimsby. The provisional team sheets and timetable for the first
match are now available. Links to the league website and the venue location are on the Track Fixtures page. If anybody is interested in competing and hasn't given in a form then please let Neil and Denise Campbell know. They will be at the track next Tuesday and Thursday or you can email them at neilanddenise@tiscali.co.uk. |

| Tuesday 22nd April 2013: Congratulations to Archie Richardson who broke the U13B club 800m record at Lincs League 1 on Sunday, lowering it down to 2m 20.0s. Excellent early season run! |
| Sunday 21st April 2013: Results for today's Lincs T&F League match 1 at Grantham are now online. The League points tables are also available. Any queries on the results should be directed TO YOUR TEAM MANAGER. |
| Monday 15th April 2013: The results
from last Thursday's LWAC Junior Races are now available (the discus results will be added later this
week). A big thank you to all the Officials and helpers. The programme for the next meeting on 18th April is also available. Longer gaps have been allowed in the throw and groups have been split for easier control. |
| Monday 15th April 2013: Jim
Aram has updated the LWAC Road Runners League
table for 2013 following the Lincoln 10k. There were some outstanding results by many
LWAC runners, from all age groups and training groups. Congratulations to all who beat their PBs! The date for Hull 10k is now 19th May. This is different to the date originally shown on the RRL calendar. |

| Friday 12th April 2013:
Following contact from CLS staff at Yarborough, Lincs AA have had no
choice but to switch Lincs T&F League match 1 to Grantham, using
the original match 2 timetable. Match 2 will now be at Lincoln
on 19th May, using the original match 1 timetable. Match venues
and timetables have been updated on the website. In addition, U20M and U20W Hammer has been added to the Match 1 (Grantham) programme. Also, U20M Hammer has been added to the Match 2 (Lincoln) programme. |
| Friday 12th April 2013: Information for LWAC athletes wanting to enter the Lincolnshire County Track And Field Championships on the 25th and 26th of May at Grantham. All athletes should complete the entry form at www.lincsathletics.org.uk/2013/20130525-26_cctf.htm and send it to the County Champs organisers as instructed. They should then take a copy of the form and give it and their payment to the information point in the Hub or to Karen Wilkinson. Cost is £2.00 per event, rules and events available will be available on or before 8th April on the County website www.lincsathletics.org.uk. |
| Thursday 11th April 2013: In a solo run in the 2k Steeplechase at the Nottingham Spring Spruce meeting, Haran Dunderdale ran 5m 59.2s to break the Club and County U20 records. Haran is currently ranked 1 in the world for the event for his age group and will be considered for the GB team travelling to the World Youth Champs in Donetsk, Ukraine. |
| Tuesday 9th April 2013:
Congratulations to Jane Clarke, who improved her V40 club record to
40m 51s at Sunday's Lincoln 10k. And a huge well done to Daniel Fleming, who broke the U17M Discus club record again with a throw of 43.84m at the Wakefield spring open on Saturday. That throw has put him into 1st place in England and 2nd in the UK on Power of 10. A fantastic start to the season for Dan. |
| Sunday 7th April 2013: Information about the Lincs County T&F Championships on 25th & 26th May 2013 is now available. |
| Saturday 6th April 2013: The results from last Tuesday's LWAC Junior Races are now available, as is the programme for the second meeting on 11th April. There will be no 515 group training that evening. All 515 group athletes are encouraged to take part in the races. |
| Saturday 6th April 2013: There are a number of free club places still available for the forthcoming BUPA London 10k. Anyone interested should contact Rob Lewis by Wed 13th April at the latest with Date of Birth and estimated finish time. The free entry places will be submitted immediately after that date. There are six male and six female places available free of charge and if there are more than six people interested in either category than personal best times over 10k in the last year will be taken into account. |
| Saturday 6th April 2013: The entry form for the Lincoln Games open meeting on 28th September is now available. |
| Thursday 4th April 2013: Attention all U13/U15 Athletes - Please see this form concerning the Youth Development League (Lower Age Group). If anyone is interested in competing please fill in the attached form and return to the Information Centre at the Hub. |
| Thursday 4th April 2013: Any U20 or U17 athlete wanting to compete in the Youth Development League Upper Age Group for the South of Humber team should complete this form to express their interest. |
| Thursday 4th April 2013: There have been a couple of changes to the Lincs League timetables. Match 1 Field had U20W competing in 3 events at the same time so their Shot has been changed with the U20M and U13B. The track has changed to allow a female Steeplechase at Lincoln and the 3k Steeplechase has moved to Match 2, and Match 3 Steeplechase is now a 1500m and not a 3k. |
