Thursday 4th October 2007:  Details of club subscription fees effective from November 2007 are now available. Membership fees remain unaltered but facility fees will now be incorporated into members annual subscriptions for ease of collection. For fairness, distinctions have been made between track and road running categories which has inevitably led to more classes of membership. A new 'Supporter' category has also been created for non-participating members. The facility charge for 2007/08 has been kept to an absolute minimum due to the following factors:-
  1. A more detailed income estimate from the facility charge register created this year. (Thanks to all members who have paid for 2006-2007).
  2. Less than expected expenditure this year due to the track upgrade.
  3. Success in achieving Community Amateur Sports Club status, enabling a facility charge tax refund claim to be made on next year's fees.
Facility charges currently cover hire of track, lighting during winter, subsidised hall/gymnasium hire, weekend access to track for members, use of Yarborough facilities by road runners and hire of Pole Vault/ High jump equipment during summer months.  The LWAC Membership Application Form has been revised to reflect the new charges.
