Tuesday 6th June 2006:  Congratulations to Hannah Dunderdale who, after sliding into first position in the 70m hurdles at the YAL match at Scunthorpe at the weekend, was awarded female athlete of the match. She finished in an excellent time of 12.0s which puts her high in the rankings for this event this year.  For those who didn't see it, as she came up to the finish line she bowed forward in the 'Dunder's' style just a little too much and ended up flat on the track and still glided through into first place.  Greeted by her mum, who was officiating, she was helped up and taken to the first aid, where she emerged some minutes later a little battered and grazed but triumphant. Well done Hannah.
