Sunday 26th March 2006:
The last indoor training session of the season was held in the sports
hall at Yarborough today. Outdoor training sessions will start
on Sunday 16th April on the track.

of yesterday's English Schools XC Championships in Mansfield are
now available on the English Schools AA website.
Friday 24th March 2006:
Karri Davey has written a report
on the performances of LWAC athletes at the World Masters Indoor Championships in
Linz, Austria.
Monday 20th March 2006:
Congratulations to Dot Fraser, who has just won a bronze medal in the
W65 400m event at the World Masters Indoor Championships in Linz,
Austria.
Tuesday 14th March 2006:
At long last, UKA have managed to publish the results
of last Saturday's Inter-Counties XC Championships. The
results are in Microsoft Excel spreadsheet format.
Thursday 9th March 2006:
Congratulations to Kathy Warhurst, who has been selected as UKA Club
Officer of the Year for the East Midlands.
Wednesday 8th March 2006:
Karri Davey reports on last weekend's BMAF
Indoor Championships in Cardiff.
Tuesday 7th March 2006: Details
of this year's LWAC 5k race series are now available. There
will also be 3k and 1k races for the younger runners. Prices and
race arrangements remain the same as last year.

National Cross Country Championships are now
available on the Sportsoft website.
Saturday 28th January 2006:
Full results from today's Northern Cross Country Championships are now
available on the NoEAA website. Congratulations to the U15 Girls
team who scored an impressive win against strong competition and also
the U20 Women team who gained 2nd place in their race.
Friday 27th January 2006:
This week's Athletics
Weekly reports that the CARP bid for the track at Yarborough has
been successful. The City Council still have several hoops to
jump through before the upgrade becomes reality. We will
hopefully be informed if and when the work can move forward.
Tuesday 24th January 2006:
The Lincolnshire Athletics Awards 2005 evening will take place
starting at 7pm on 3rd
February at Sleaford Rugby Club. The club has been offered 15
places (in addition to the nominees) for members to attend the
evening. If you would like to attend, please contact
me by 27th January.
Saturday 21st January 2006:
Information about next weekend's Northern
XC Championships is now available on the North of England AA
website.
Tuesday 17th January 2006:
Results
from last weekend's County Cross Country championships are now
available. Please note that the senior and vet mens team results
have been corrected slightly so there will need to be a redistribution
of badges. I will contact those that need to either return or
collect a badge.
Sunday 8th January 2006:
Congratulations to Sarah Kimpton, who was the only Wellington athlete
to win a trophy from the North Midlands Cross Country League this
season.
