Friday 26th December 2003: The programme and course map
for the 4th
Lincs League cross country meeting in Skegness are now available.
Sunday 21st December 2003: Well done to Malc Bramhall
for setting 2 indoor PBs last weekend in Sheffield. He achieved
7.89secs in the 60m and 54.65secs in the 400m.
Sunday 21st December 2003: Results from today's LWAC
Cross Country championships are now available. Well done to
all of the runners who had to brave that biting wind today.
Wednesday 10th December 2003: Read Anthony Gerundini's
latest report, this time on last weekend's Nene
Valley 10 mile race.
Friday 5th December 2003: Shirley Clarke reports on the
Leicester
Marathon, Reebok
Cross Challenge in Liverpool, and last weekend's Lincs
League Cross Country in Lincoln.
Tuesday 2nd December 2003: Results of Sunday's Lincs
League Cross Country races in Lincoln are now available.
Thursday 27th November 2003:
Anthony Gerundini reports on last weekend's Hereward
Relay.
Wednesday 26th November 2003:
Good News and Bad News! The Good News is that the North of England AA have
awarded the Silver
medals to our U13 Girls team following an appeal against their
disqualification for alleged pacing in the NoEAA Road Relays at Silksworth.
The Bad News is that the team is still disqualified and will not
appear in the official results. This is clearly a disappointing
outcome and one that appears to make little sense. Perhaps with
regionalisation we may get administrators that can make clear and
sensible decisions.

available.
Wednesday 12th November 2003:
Rob Lewis completes his tour of duty as Press Secretary with a report
on last Saturday's National
Cross Country Relays in Mansfield.
Tuesday 11th November 2003: The
committee
for the coming year was elected at last night's AGM.
Sunday 9th November 2003: Results
from today's Poppy Run in Boston are now available.
Saturday 8th November 2003: Results
from today's English XC Relays in Mansfield are now available on
the Sportsoft web site.
Friday 7th November 2003: The timetable for tomorrow's
English XC Relays in Mansfield is available on the UK
Athletics website.
Tuesday 4th November 2003: Rob Lewis reports on the Road
Relays in Sutton Park, the North
Midlands XC League in Heanor and the Reebok
Challenge in Birmingham.
Thursday 30th October 2003: Congratulations to Jim
Edwards who finished 2nd V60 in the Snowdonia Marathon in a time of
3hrs 28mins 20secs. Brian Fox finished in 4:18:01. Jim
Diamond also started but passed out at mile 24. With assistance
from an ambulance crew, he had recovered a short time later.

Monday 27th October 2003: 4 Lincoln Wellington runners
travelled to Rheims in France for the races there yesterday.
Steve Campion knocked 7 minutes off his Marathon PB in 3hrs 17mins
48secs. In the Half Marathon Anne Gilroy finished in 1:42:41 and
Dave Strangeway in 1:45:49. Shirley Devlin completed the 10k in
0:58:44.
Sunday 26th October 2003: Well done to Lincoln
Wellington runners in today's Worksop Half Marathon. Simon
Covell finished in 1hr 25mins 33secs, Tony
Gerundini in 1:27:51, Trish Penistan in 1:43:10, Simon
Kimpton in 2:08:29, Pat Kimpton in 2:14:01 and Tracy Carnall in
2:15:57.
Monday 20th October 2003: Next year's Round Norfolk
Relay is planned for the weekend of 18-19 September. Potential
LWAC runners, escorts and supporters please put this date in your race
diaries now.
Sunday 19th October 2003: Copies of the results sheets
from today's Lincs
League Cross Country races in Boston. A fuller report will
hopefully follow later.
Saturday 18th October 2003: Profiles for Matt
Bowser and Rachael Nathan
updated. Tash Johnson's
profile pic updated ("at long last!" I hear her saying!!).
Tuesday 14th October 2003: A small team of Wellington
athletes ran in the North Midlands XC League races in Derby last
weekend. Rob Lewis reports on
how they fared.
